Corporate Women's Group
Join in on a very important discussion that impacts all women in corporations.
Women in corporate settings often experience similar hurdles to advancing their careers. In the next event in the 2019 CWCC Corporate Women Series, we'll hear from prominent female leaders as they explore topics that impact women and their ability to advance into higher leadership roles, such as:
- Unconscious Bias & Corporate Culture
- Lack of Mentorship & Sponsorship
- Communication & Inner Voice
Topic: Break Through The Unconscious Biases that Sabotage Careers
Bias has an impact on careers - on our own, and if we lead others, on theirs. It is nothing new that we all have biases. We are often clearly aware of the ones that are directed at us. But what about those subtle and not so subtle beliefs, messages and attitudes (yep, biases) that are obstacles we don?t even see. This interactive program will look at external and internal beliefs - little things that can sabotage success. We will explore how we hold ourselves back while navigating organizational culture. Participants will gain skills to shift obstructive energy to constructive presence; identify 11 blocks to successful interactions; recognize emotional triggers and understand the element of fear and its impact.
