The Young Professionals group is developed in part with the chamber and the Young Professionals Board.
About the YP Board: The board is made up of young professionals, 25 – 40, of all genders, representing small to large businesses, all industries and sectors. This board is designed to support and create programming for CWCC Young Professionals as they navigate their careers and businesses. This is done through quarterly professional development and social opportunities. Members of this board also support the chamber with member engagement in the CWCC community, fundraising, and special projects. See our board members here.
This is a unique community of young professionals working to develop the next generation of leaders. There is an application process that opens in November each year. Terms go from December – November of the following year
Impact: The CWCC YP Board puts on quarterly programs to engage other young professionals, provide tools and resources for development, create community, and give back. While programming is designed for young professionals, this is open to all (regardless of age). Please check out events calendar for programs (March, May, August, October, & December).
For 2021, the YP board is launching a mentorship program between YP board members and college students to help bridge the gap between college and “the working world.”
