CWCC Peer Groups are designed to meet the specific needs for our different types of members. Each peer group has content and participants specific to where they are in business. These groups gather separately once a month to foster relationships, share authentically, and support one another’s personal and professional growth. Each month will have a different topic that supports the advancement of these groups. Peer groups are still included in membership and have no additional fee to participate in.
Our Solopreneur Forum is designed for small women owned businesses looking to grow their business knowledge, skills, and community. These businesses are under $1M in revenue and may or may not have a few employees.
Format of Solopreneur Forum: Networking, group introductions (name, business name, connection to topic), speaker from the community or inside the group (20 minutes), table conversation and group reflection.
*Businesses must be a Solopreneur and complete a brief application
You are allowed to attend as a guest once.
Topic: Building Your Bucket List Join us for our August Solopreneurs Forum and our August's Spotlight with Jenny Salimi! Jenny is going to get us all thinking about being intentional about living life to the fullest. What better way is there to nudge us to move in that direction than to create our Bucket Lists?
Please come up with a list of at least 10 things you've always wanted to try, accomplish, learn and experience. Be ready to share your top 1 or 2 items and the story behind them. It will be a fun opportunity to learn more about each other AND be a resource to help each other check things off the list!
Make sure to avoid having too many items that create a financial burden. The goal is to create memories, live out our passions, promote self-development and encourage curiosity. This list should be a living work in progress that always and forever grows. Attached is Jenny’s amazing Bucket List to get your creative juices flowing!
Facilitated by CWCC member and Solopreneur, Jenny Salimi Jenny Salimi is a Colorado native who has a strong affinity for creating and connecting. She is the inventor of a fashion accessory (Brazzles) and a self-published author of 2 books (HEARTS and HEARTS FOR KIDS!) based on natural and accidental hearts she has found around the world and launched a wedding resale website (Shop Sell Weddings) last year.
Her broad range of involvement with indoor and outdoor activities as well as with the community and volunteering keeps her inspired, grounded, invigorated and BUSY! She wouldn't have it any other way. A strength of hers is to find a need for something that's either not out there or is there but needs a little tweaking to make it better. And most of all, she likes to have fun!
