Well Set: Health & Wellness Curated Group
We have found great success through our current curated group offerings (forums) where women (and everyone) are able to connect, develop, and grow. We have also seen women rocking the challenging times and taking the opportunities to connect and make deeper connections.
These groups are designed with an accountability component. In order to grow and make change, your commitment is needed. This is not a pop in as you please program.
Well Set: Health and Wellness Group: This group will bring together like-minded individuals from all membership levels in the chamber who prioritize their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
Format: This group gathers monthly Friday mornings. Every other month, we will have a speaker present on a topic related to our health and well-being. The other months, group members will plan an activity to get out together (or one on one). This could include hiking, dance class, workout class, meditation, walk in the park, etc.
Topic: Walking Tall Amongst Giants
In today’s stressful, unpredictable time, the one thing that can create less stress and be predictable is creating a focus on YOU! Doing so isn’t being selfish. It is an intention of nurturing your mind, your body and your spirit. This is allowing YOU to Walk Tall Amongst Giants.
In this webinar, you will come to know the importance of self-care – both physical and nutrition health. Did you know that proper nutrition not only has impact on your immune system and reduces inflation in your joints, it also has an impact on mental health! In addition to hearing about the importance of self-care, you will also hear how organizations are using the focus of self-care as a team concept to focus on their employees and their employee engagement.
Speaker: Steve Hess, Chief Performance Office for Panorama Orthopedic and Spine, Operating Owner for Panorama Wellness and Sports Institute. Former Director of Performance for the Denver Nuggets.
About Steve:
After 21 years as Director of Performance with the Denver Nuggets, Steve has chosen a new and exciting path as Chief Performance Officer for Panorama Orthopedic and Spine and Operating Owner for Panorama Wellness and Sports Institute.
Steve has undertaken the task to revolutionize the exercise industry. He truly believes with this group of individuals, all of them at the top of their fields, they are all working with one ultimate goal which is to bring out the best in everyone. To accomplish this, a team of specialist would be working closely together to determine the most appropriate treatment. They have devised a performance profile giving them your fingerprint to your physiology. Its non invasive and objective allowing them an exact three dimension look of how a muscular skeletal system looks while in motion providing them with joint angles, and force output at all positions of movement. In addition, they are able, through ultrasound, to determine muscular asymmetry and glycolytic capacities. Most importantly being able to determine the actual age of a muscle. Through all this objective data they are creating an algorithm, which has been able to group individuals into high risk, moderate risk, and low risk categories. Once they have obtained this information, they have a tactical plan to create workouts according to your fingerprint. That is Panorama Wellness and Sports Institute!
